ProjetoGol is an initiative that connects artists and educators from Espírito Santo, Brazil, and Minnesota, USA, through poetry, music, and cinema. The project emerged from the Sixth World Conference on Remedies to Racial and Social Inequality, which brought global leaders together to discuss pressing issues like racial inequality, poverty, and climate change. The conference led to practical solutions aimed at eliminating racial and social disparities.

Espírito Santo's Participation
Following the conference, an open call in Espírito Santo led to the involvement of 16 art-educators who work within schools and communities to empower youth through creativity. They foster respect for cultural and linguistic diversity by promoting oral traditions and artistic expression. These educators are helping students find their voices, develop confidence, and embrace diversity.

Looking Ahead: The 7WC in 2026
As part of the project’s international growth, poets and artists from Espírito Santo are invited to join the 7th World Conference (7WC) in Minneapolis in August 2026. This event will bring together global voices to continue discussions on racial and social inequality.
